Sinbad on Mars

Looks like the old Ray Harryhausen idea may soon be made into a movie.


Morningside Entertainment has optioned Sinbad: Rogue of Mars for development into a feature film.
The Bluewater Productions graphic novel, which will be written by Greg Thompson and Ryan Burton, with art by Jeff Cruz and Diego Simone, is due for release in April, reports ICv2.
Morningside was founded by Charles Schneer and Ray Harryhausen and produced The 7th Voyage of Sinbad in 1958.
The first of the planned trilogy of films is scheduled for release in 2012

Wereworld:Rise of The Wolf

Curtis Jobling, Bob the Builder designer and all round good bloke has recently released his first novel. His previous books Frankenstein's Cat,My Daddy: My Daddy Is the Best in the Universe,Cheeky Monkey were aimed at children, his new book is aimed at young adult market. Wereworld:Rise of The Wolf is the first in a series of books he's writing and is well worth picking up, and has been shortlisted for the Waterstone's Book Prize
